How to get your credit
To get your Columbus apartment referral credit, you must be identified during the application process, so make sure your friend lists your full name on their Guest Card, either online or in person.
After your friend signs a 12-month lease and moves in, we’ll verify your account status. If your account is in good standing with no outstanding balance, your referral credit will be applied to your portal. If delinquent, the credit may be applied once you’re back in good standing.

Program Essentials
We want to help you build a neighborhood you love. To keep our referral process transparent and fair for everyone, please keep these guidelines in mind:
Current residents only: You must be a current resident in good standing to receive credits. If you have a “future move-in” status, your credit will be processed once both you and your referral have moved in on a 12-month lease.
Applies to all Thrive communities: To qualify for your referral credit, your friend can move into any Thrive property, not just the one you live in.
No credit stacking: To keep things simple, resident referral credits cannot be combined with preferred employer referral credits.

Who is eligible to receive a referral credit?
Current residents in good financial standing are eligible. Applicants with a “future move-in” status won’t receive credit until they’ve moved in, and only after the referred resident also moves in on a 12-month lease or longer.
When is the referral credit applied?
If your account is in good standing with no outstanding balance, you’ll get your credit after your referral signs a 12-month lease (or longer) and moves in. If your account is delinquent, the credit may be applied once you’re back in good standing.
How do I make sure I’m listed as the referrer?
Your referral must put your full name on their Guest Card when filling out their application (online or in person). If they don’t, the credit cannot be honored.
Can I combine this with my preferred employer credit?
No, preferred employer referral and resident referral credits cannot be combined.
Does my referral have to move into my property?
No, your referral can move into any Thrive property. You’ll be eligible for your credit once all requirements are met.
